Consequently, platforms like Doblox now offer the ability to specify IP whitelist addresses, aiming to enhance security without burdening users with the need to frequently change API keys.
Take these steps to set IP of Doblox in Binance whitelist:
First log into your Doblox account, click on the profile (dummy icon) on the upper right-hand corner of the panel and choose the “Exchange Management” option.
A pane is open, choose the “Exchanges/Wallets” tab.
In this tab, click on the “+ Exchange” button on the right of the page.
Another pane is open where you can find two IP codes in the “API Whitelist” field (they’re separated by a comma). Copy them.
Now log in to Binance and Click on profile (the dummy icon on the upper right-hand corner of the screen). When the drop-down menu is open, choose the “API Management'' option.
A new page opens. There is a list of your API keys. Find the API keys for your Doblox account and select "Edit Restrictions."
In the opened page, click on the “Edit restrictions” button on the upper right-hand corner.
Under "IP Access Restrictions" select "Restrict access to trusted IPs only" to enable whitelisting.
Important: Under “API restrictions”, make sure just the “Enable Read” and “Enable Spot trading” are active and “Edit Withdrawals” option is inactive.
You’ve copied the “API Whitelist” codes before from Doblox. Paste them one by one into the field and select Confirm.
After adding the IP addresses, select Save. Your API key is now whitelisted.
