Set Doblox IP Whitelisting on Coinbase

In late 2022, as a result of heightened security measures, exchanges started expiring API keys periodically.

Consequently, platforms like Doblox now offer the ability to specify IP whitelist addresses, aiming to enhance security without burdening users with the need to frequently change API keys.

Take these steps to set IP of Doblox in Coinbase whitelist:

1. First log into your Doblox account, click on the profile (dummy icon) on the upper right-hand corner of the panel and choose the “Exchange Management” option.

   

   1. A pane is open, choose the “Exchanges/Wallets” tab.

   2. In this tab, click on the “+ Exchange” button on the right of the page.

   

   1. Another pane is open where you can find two IP codes in the “API Whitelist” field (they’re separated by a comma). Copy them.

   

   1. Now log in to Coinbase and click on profile (the dummy icon on the upper right-hand corner of the screen). When the drop-down menu is open, choose the “Setting” option.

1. On the new page, click on the “API” tab.

1. On the “API” tab, find the API key you’ve already made. Click on the edit of this API key.

1. Do the verification process.

1. New pane is open, paste the “API Whitelisting” codes you’ve just copied from Doblox in the “Allowed IP Addresses” field (There is a comma in between each IP address) and press the “save” button.

1. Your API key is now whitelisted.
