How to create and set up Hyperliquid API key

Doblox is a trading platform that allows you to trade and analyze in numerous cryptocurrency exchanges, monitor media and social media and use many other features in an all in one interface.

To do so, you should use an exchange API key. This is a safe and reliable way to use a trading platform because it does not give access to your confidential data as Doblox also does not access any funds management (withdrawals & deposits).

1. API Key (Access Key): This key authenticates users and specifies which account is connecting to the third-party service.

2. Secret Key: This key establishes an additional security layer by demanding a confidential token for request authentication.

Note: You can connect several exchange accounts to your Doblox account to speed your trading and make it more sophisticated and smoother with less stress and exhaustion. To enable trading automation and portfolio tracking via Hyperliquid on Doblox, you need to create an API Wallet. Follow these steps carefully.

1. Go to https://hyperliquid.xyz, and make sure your main wallet (e.g., MetaMask) is connected.

1. Navigate to the API Section

   Click on More in the top navigation bar and choose API.

1. Create & Authorize API Wallet

   1. Enter a name (e.g., doblox) and click Generate.

   2. Click Authorize API Wallet.

1. Important: Select MAX duration for Days Valid.

   1. Save the Private Key shown here. You won't be able to see it again.

   ⚠️ Copy this private key securely — it's needed to connect Doblox.

1. Important: Use Your Main Wallet Address, NOT the API Wallet Address

   When connecting to Doblox, you must:

   • Use your main wallet address (e.g., 0xc0A6...D393)

   • Paste the Private API Key (from step 4 above)

   ❌ Do not use the generated API wallet address (e.g., 0x3B602...).

1. Final Step: Connect to Doblox

   In the Doblox interface:

   • Paste your main wallet address

   • Paste the private key

   • Click Connect

   Done! You’re now linked to Hyperliquid via a secure, read-only API connection with full trading capability (no withdrawal access).

2. When you enter your Doblox account, click on the profile (dummy icon) on the upper right-hand corner of the panel and choose the “Exchange Management” option.

   
3. A pane is open, choose the “Exchanges/Wallets” tab.

4. In this tab, click on the “+ Exchange” button on the right of the page.

1. Another pane is open which you should fill the fields with the information (Keys) you received from Hyperliquid (You can fill the “Nickname” field with whatever name you like. Here we suggest filling it with “My Hyperliquid”).

1. Choose Hyperliquid from the first drop-down field (Exchange).

1. Fill the “API key” and “Secret key” Fields with the given keys that you took from Hyperliquid.

2. Now click on the “Add Exchange” button.

1. Now your Hyperliquid account is connected to Doblox and you can enjoy trading. Please check if the API is synced by going to [profile > “Exchange Management'' > “Exchanges | Wallets” tab].
