Set Doblox IP Whitelisting on Kraken

In late 2022, as a result of heightened security measures, exchanges started expiring API keys periodically.

Consequently, platforms like Doblox now offer the ability to specify IP whitelist addresses, aiming to enhance security without burdening users with the need to frequently change API keys.

Take these steps to set IP of Doblox in Kraken whitelist:

1. First log into your Doblox account, click on the profile (dummy icon) on the upper right-hand corner of the panel and choose the “Exchange Management” option.

   

   1. A pane is open, choose the “Exchanges/Wallets” tab.

   2. In this tab, click on the “+ Exchange” button on the right of the page.

   

   1. Another pane is open where you can find two IP codes in the “API Whitelist” field (they’re separated by a comma). Copy them.

   

   1. Now log in to your Kraken account and click on profile (the dummy icon on the upper right-hand corner of the screen). When the drop-down menu is open, choose the “Security” option.

1. On the bottom of the new page, find the “API Keys” section. Click on “Create API”.

1. A pane pops up which says for creating API you should go to Kraken Pro; So click on “Go to Kraken Pro”.

1. On the new page, find the API key you’ve just made. Click on the three dot icon and choose “Edit API”

1. On the opened pane, Turn on the “IP address restrictions” section and fill in the blank with the “API Whitelisting” codes you’ve copied from Doblox (There is a comma in between each IP address). Then click on “Save”.

1. Now Your API Key is whitelisted.
